It's Friday...it's the start of the weekend...and it's been one of those weeks! Today was actually a fun day. It was my day off, but with Monday having been a holiday, I needed to get some more work done, so I went in for the morning. Then at noon, Mom picked me up and we headed to the Olive Garden to meet my old friend Tammy and her daughter Kiara for lunch. After lunch, we really weren't finished visiting, so they came over to the house for awhile too. It's always good to see her and Kiara, and catch up on the last year or so of life!
When she left, I started dinner, and Rob started to fix himself a rum and Coke. I asked him to fix me a drink too...with my whipped vodka. It's kind of funny, because Rob and I rarely drink, but it just seemed like a good night to unwind a bit with a cocktail.
